Randy Olson Bass / Bluefish Charter. We broke the inlet at 7:00 am and started working the birds. We were jigging bluefish at a drop and reel pace working our way south towards Mantoloking. About an hour into the day we found the striped bass. After landing a few shorts and one keeper bass the guys wanted to finish the day blackfishing. The 30 kt. winds kicked up as we set up on our first piece. We worked hard to get the hook to stick but had no luck. We went back on the hunt for bass but only blues and lots of dogfish to finish the day off. All in all we had a great time!
